Over the last five to even ten years, I feel we have seen bodysuits make their mark as permanent staple in every fashion girls wardrobe. For me, this obviously dates back to the American Apparel Bodysuit days of highschool, trickling up into more designer brands, and throughout the market. So when I inherently think of a bodysuit my mind definitely leans towards basics, a layering piece and a essential; however I have noticed in the current market there has been a massive shift to bold, innovative bodysuit designs that are absolutely everything. From top designers to more affordable fashion retailers, bodysuits with a point of view are everywhere.

The theme of comfortable clothing also translates to one of the most undeniable trends of the season baggy jeans. Slouchy denim silhouettes have been everywhere from the Victoria Beckham, and Balenciaga's collections, to all over the current street style landscape. I personally am always one for denim with extra-wide cuts and flowy silhouettes, so it doesn't take much convincing for me to invest in this trend. An oversized denim moment is the ultimate cool girl piece to wear with just a basic tank and sneakers, or to flip the script with a stylish top, blazer and heel.

Not Shying Away From Bold Prints.
If you know me, you know that I am definitely someone that gravitates towards an all black look, or a monochromatic moment. However in the past few years I have done my best to venture out of my comfort zone, and let the color mixing in! And now, I can say that i am fully on board with the funky prints that have been filling our Instagram feeds for the last year. From checkerboard twiggy looks, to mesh and abstract, bold prints are undeniably the moment.
