Summer Isn't Over! Swimwear Selects
Yes, we are nearing the end days of summer- however we still have a few more good summer weeks ahead of us, including Labor Day weekend! Which means there is definitely still time to get your bathing suit content. We've put together a list of some of our favorite swimsuits to cop before the end of summer!
I literally can’t wait for this swimsuit to arrive. I absolutely adore Alexandra Bunch and the entire Local European brand, so when they added swim it was no surprise to me that I loved. The NOA bikini is the perfect staple suit to have in your collection. It’s sexy, and not a trend based style at all. Also the cut of the bottoms is ideal for us all, accentuating curves, and giving the illusion of long legs and a perky booty- no matter the angle!
If there was a bathing suit brand of the summer, I would say Melissa Simone takes the prize. Everyone was posting pics in their Melissa Simone bikinis it seems like (including myself.) I absolutely love my Linda suit. Like any good suit the cut is everything, and hugs my curves just where I want it. Also her color-waves are so unique and ideal for everyone, but specifically brown skin girls.
Hampton House Swim is a new swimwear brand that launched this July. They create luxury swimwear for all body types. I tend to be a bikini kind of girl, but I recently saw the beautiful Lala rocking the Serena one piece, and I loved it. It is the ideal suit for any size bust because it automatically gives you that desired chest area without even trying!
Speaking of sexy one pieces, this Free Will one from Castamira is everything of the sort. I am obsessed with the white color, and open back look. If you’re someone who can navigate unique tan lines this is the suit for you!
Jade Swim - All Around Bandeau
A strapless bikini is always an essential to have in your bathing suit rotation, to get rid of those pesky strap lines. I love the bandeau option from Jade swim, which comes in so many different colors, and can be paired with a variety of different bottom styles. I love the Jade swim line because they have signature color-waves in so many different styles, allowing you to mix and match for your body.
A sports bra bikini is always a good suit to have in your collection, especially when you’re looking to have a more active beach day, and as someone who can never sit still- I always am. I love this suit by Mint Swim which comes in such fun colors, that I feel perfectly compliments your melanin. I’ve always been partial to warmer colors, but I may have to try out the Electric blue moment.
Riot Swim is another swimwear brand that I feel does such a good job of offering styles that ranges in all sizes. And much like Jade, they feature different styles in the same color ways to allow you the ability to mix and match. You can also tell the attention to detail that goes into their suits, with body sculpting styles that feature lines that give you the illusion of length and curves, that we’re always looking for. I am particularly into this Jax top in the Kiwi color!
